“THE mOst beautiful things in life are not just things, they’re people and places..”
here are all our recommendations for Italy
Rome
Absolute a vibe. we loved rome and spent 4 days and it was perfect. we booked all our tours a head of time and we would also recommend this. The following is a must do in rome!
The Vatican
The Colosseum
The Sistine Chapel
Roman forum/palatine hill
trevi fountain( go before 7am or it will be packed like sardines)
walk the city (night & day), explore!! it is so safe and we had a blast just walking the streets at night finding little town squares of liveliness and during the day finding all the farmer markest
as foodies we wouldn’t be able to live with ourselves if we didn’t tell you about our favorite spots
osteria da fortunata (make reservations, and if you don’t still go even if its an 11pm opening because it is beyond worth it)
all’antico vinaio sandwich (there will be an hour line but also worth it)
i pizzicaroli vini e ristoro ( we found it by accident and it had the best charcuterie board)
Tuscany/ Florence
we didn’t get to do everything we wanted to here but we did do a wine tour and it was so fun and an amazing experience
amalfi coast
this was by far one of the best parts of our trip. we fell in love with this place (hence why were having our wedding there). the views, the food , just everything is perfection.
go to capri if you can but only for a day because it is packed with tourist everyday, we found one of the most breath taking beaches and had some of the best lobster
highly recommend doing a cooking class, make sure it isn’t commercialized for a true authentic feel
